Altuary — short for Alternate Sanctuary — is an architecture and interior design consultancy by Alien DC. We listen, plan and design private villas and premium residences, then carry each one through engineering and construction to the final key.
Our clients come to us with a site and a way of living. We give them a house that belongs to both — their alternate sanctuary, away from the city and the working week.

Private villas we have designed and built for clients across Bali — tropical houses shaped by the Mediterranean, with long pools, deep shade, natural stone and timber, and gardens drawn as part of the architecture.
Modern tropical, read through Mediterranean light. Crisp volumes and deep timber soffits, pools that run the length of the house, and terraces that step with Bali’s slopes, paddies and sunsets instead of fighting them.

Each residence starts from its site — the path of the sun, the view to the mountain or the sea, the garden it opens onto. Climate shapes the plan before style does: tilted masses, timber second skins, sky gardens and shaded terraces.
Timber, natural stone and warm light, detailed so each house feels rooted where it stands. Architecture, interior and construction stay with the same in-house teams, so what is drawn is what gets built.
